Right at the famous chalk cliff viewpoint "Koenigsstuhl" (kings’ s chair) the Visitors’ Centre KOENIGSSTUHL offers a very special experience of nature. A world full of secrets can be seen, touched and explored – on 2.000 m² indoor and 28.000 m² outdoor area.

The exhibition contains 2.000 sqm and reveals the secrets of nature. On a time travel - beginning at primitive times – many exhibits are waiting for being touched and tested. If you are an adventurer or explorer or you are in the mood for a romantic foray through the areas of life in the National Park, for everybody the right guidance per headphones is kept ready. Several aquaria, a real iceberg and many other attractions are waiting for you. You experience the fascinating world of Jasmund National Park in an entertaining way. For children there are special travels: Mimi the mouse and Krax the raven accompany the little ones through the exhibition with funny stories. Three audio-guided journeys are for those of you who are able to understand German. In English we only can offer you the “curios travel”.
In the multivision-cinema you fly over beech groves like a white-tailed eagle, experience the surge in the dawn, in severe cold or in the golden fall. Hikes to different themes, focal points and routes offer something for everyone. The guided hikes can be adapted to individual needs. Beside the standards we offer thematic orientated hikes. Ruegen’ s famous landmark, the Koenigsstuhl (King’s chair), is a 118 metres high chalk cliff in the Jasmund National Park. From its approximate 200 square metres platform you have a panoramic view onto the sea and the coastline.
